About the Project
We partnered with a software development agency to provide outsourcing services from Serbia, enabling them to manage an increased workload without compromising quality while significantly reducing development costs. Our team contributed to the development of two key features in the client’s project:
Browser Extension Risk Analyzer:
The extension risk analyzer provides IT administrators with an advanced tool to evaluate potential security risks associated with new browser extensions before they are deployed across the company’s enterprise browsers. This feature goes beyond standard risk assessments by allowing admins to:- Customize risk parameters: IT admins can fine-tune how the risk score is calculated by adjusting key factors such as extension permissions, access levels, and origin of the extension, ensuring the assessment aligns with their organization’s specific security protocols.
- Detailed risk reporting: The tool generates comprehensive risk reports, detailing potential threats and offering insights into the risk profile of each extension, allowing admins to make informed decisions.
- Centralized management: By integrating with the company’s existing security infrastructure, the risk analyzer consolidates the assessment and management of extensions into a single platform, improving operational efficiency.
Browser Policy Management Administrator Panel:
This feature simplifies the complex process of managing browser policies across multiple browsers, making it easier for IT administrators to enforce consistent security policies across an organization’s diverse browsing environment. Key benefits include:- Unified policy management: IT admins can connect and manage policies across multiple browser types from a single, intuitive interface. This eliminates the need for managing browser configurations separately, reducing time spent on individual browser setups.
- Flexible configuration: The administrator panel offers extensive flexibility in applying and modifying policies, such as blocking certain browser features, managing permissions, and enforcing compliance with corporate security standards.
- Bulk updates and deployment: Administrators can roll out updates or changes to browser policies across all users in the organization simultaneously, streamlining the process and ensuring consistent application of security measures.
